BCR: Any way to get pitch bends from 0-127 instead of 1-127 on the encoder pots?

Hi all-- I'm using a BCR to control RME's totalmix software on an RME fireface 800. This responds to Mackie Control, so I'm using a slightly modified version of the mackie emulation (for logic, from Japan) It uses pitch bends to control the volume sliders in the RME applet, but the range only goes from 1-127. This leaves the sliders at -56dB instead of all the way off when bringing down a channel fader. I suspect if I could set the min value to zero, this would solve the issue, but: 1) I can't manually program the BCR to do this (min val =1) 2) I can't use the BCedit to do this (also only goes to 1) 3) I can't get the birdie editor to work 4) I can't get the other editor to work either. Sorry, name escapes me. Does anybody know if there's a trick to doing this, or if pitch bends are just limited to 1-127 and I didn't know it? (this is possible, I am pretty ignorant of these things). BTW, BCF units in mackie emulation mode work perfectly with Totalmix, so it doesn't appear to be a limitation of the RME software. Also, trying to use the 'learn' command on the BCR going from the BCF in Mackie Mode to the BCR throws a 'bAd' error on the BCR. Thanks!
