Jv1080 and BCF2000 Sysex Advice PLZ :)

2012-07-01 by Alun

Hi Peoples,
         First post woo hoo !!
Anyway I have just been tinkering around with the JV virsynth patch from this group and want to tweak it a bit so all 4 waves can be controlled. I would also like to match the controller to access the paramaters that I use most.So my question is what's the easiest way to get the sysex strings into bc manager? I like the way bc manager lets us copy and paste the messages to make new encoders switches etc. I have been looking around for maybe a txt file with all the parameters named but so far no luck. does anyone have any suggestions

Puzzled because you say you have been playing with the patch from this group.

How did you get that into the BCR?

Assuming it was sysex, you can load this into the BCR manager.
And then the world is your lobster!

All you need do is read the manuals for the JV and make the changes to how you want it.

I suspect you are just about 100% of the way there already.

Apologize if I misunderstood your post.

Regards

Steve H

Well The patch I got from here was for BcR 2000 I copied the encoder paramaters into a fresh template and save it as a bcf2000 sys ex.

The thing is that the JV template only has sysex messages for paramaters of the the first 2 tones and it's in patch mode only.

The manual has the sys ex strings but its a bit confusing I have had a go but with not much luck.

What I would like to do is get the following sysex strings for all 4 tones
Filters: cutoff FREQ Resonance (of course)
LFO Rate(speed),Pitch,filter,Vol (depth)
These would be a start

Is there anywhere online with these strings in a TXT format then I can just add them to an encoder in BC manager.
I hope that makes a bit more sense.
Thanx for any suggestions
