Beauty contest

2012-08-20 by Bruno

Hi list,

after finding out that creation of SysEx implementation file for BC
Manager can be done quite quickly, I plan to go forth and make some
more. Of course I can only do it for the stuff I own, since it's
possible to test the file on the fly. I decided to ask the group if
there's any interest in some particular model. Our contestants are:
 - Yamaha FS1R
 - Yamaha EX5
 - Korg Z1

I can also provide some SysEx stuff for E-mu architectures
(Morpheus/UltraProteus, as well as P2K platform, with Command
Stations), but they are already controllable to some extent.

As far as I can tell, FS1R can be the most interesting one... for all
of them I will need to convert the PDF tables into plain text, so I
could automate the whole process.

Cheers,

Bruno

Hi!

First post here and in reply to an old thread.
I wonder if the presets for the EX5 ever came in to being.
It would be wonderful to be able to control this powerful instrument from the BCR.

Maybe, if they never were made I could have a go at it myself.

"an old thread" from 25 months ago!

and suggestion: a good subject line is
"new EX5 presets exist?"
instead of "beauty contest"
mabe resubmit your question!

HTH,
Kenneth

PS: I was incredulous that "me" was a
participant in this thread. That';s
why I viewed it. Wow 25 months ago.

Hmm! Hardly anytime at all.

The E-MU Morpheus suggestion would be a nice addition also.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
