unresponsive fader at the start of a fader movement

hello, i just experienced an odd behavior with my bcf 2000. when i start a very slow fader movement the fader seems to be unresponsive. It sends the first midi event only if i have moved the fader already quite a bit. Also the value jump is higher than expected. I send a CC in absolute 14 bit mode. The lowest value is 0, the highest value is 1023. After the start of a slow fader movement i get nice ramp with increments of 1. But at the start of it i get always a jump of 5 or 6 not 1. Which makes it impossible to fine adjust a fader position, which is the reason to choose a higher resolution than the usual 128 steps. A jump of 6 means i only get a effective resolution of around 170. Did you noticed this behavior on your bcf ? do you know a way to adjust this behavior? thanks in advance all the best erik
