Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

Ok, so it seems like you can't edit the resolution of the Mackie Mode with any existing firmware, right? There must be some kind of workaround to this. 

x Has anyone successfully copied the Mackie Mode to a preset giving the same functionality? The most important function for me is to be able to control more than 8 faders through switching "group page". I haven't found out how to set this up properly so this hasn't been an alternative so far.

x Is there some kind of alternative driver that could change the data being sent from the BCF2000 to Ableton?

x Or is there some setting in Ableton that fixes this problem?

Ah! I found a workaround in Ableton Live. You could first use the Midi Learn button to map the encoders, then use the Max4Live Mapulator plugin to change the resolution.

But I don't like this solution. Is it possible to somehow edit the Mackie Control for Cubase preset (sysex file?) by dumping it, change the resolution and then upload the changed preset back to the BCF2000?
