Mapping BCR in Live to Static Channel Positions

Mapping BCR in Live to Static Channel Positions

2014-04-11 by <piatti@...>

Hello,
In ableton live, I would like to map my top row of encoders to the track properties of whatever track is displayed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc, no matter if I move tracks around. As of now, if I move what was originally track 2 to the right of track four, the encoder that it's mapped to will also change position. I do not want this to happen so I don't have to keep track of which track is where. I hope I articulated this well enough! Any ideas?

Thank you all for this wonderful resource!

Dan

In mackie emulation you get what you need. Check the forum for downloads etc. There is also some youtube stuff available.

I use this mackie emulation for global functions in live. Other presets on my bcr2000 are dedicated to specific instruments or fx.
