How to use BCR2000 to control Korg TR-Rack

I recently acquired a bcr2000 and I would like to use it to control my Korg TR-Rack.. Unfortunately I am a midi noob and have no idea how to accomplish this. I have looked at the midi implementation chart that came with the tr-rack but i don't see how i can get that information (.syx) to my BCR. would anyone be able to help me accomplish this?


Sidenote... I have installed BC Manager as I understand it is a helpful tool when configuring the BCR. I even went so far as reprogramming the encoders and buttons on the BCR.. Im still getting familiar with the process(es).. That being said I still have no idea how to get the syx data from my synth to dump to BC Manager and then to my BCR.. i see so many syx files on the net but none for my synth so i guess I have to do it myself. Thanks in advance for any help with this. It is greatly appreciated.. I apologize for the noobish question.

This is a question often asked.
First, have a look through previous threads about starting out linking a BCR to a hardware synth

Next, decide on what TR parameters you are wanting to control and which encoders and switches on the BCR you want to use. This can take a long time but if you want to do it correctly it will take a while thinking about what goes where.

Go to my website http://www.bwalk.com.au/BC2k/BC2k.html and download 'secretBC.pdf' to show you some of the things that are possible.

Have a look in the file section here for other hardware synth patches for the BCR.
These are in two forms.
The '*.syx' and the '*.bc'.
Either can be loaded into Mark's editor and you can then see how the sysex messages are setup for encoders and switches.
The '*.bc' ones are just text in the BC programming language and so they are easily read, but perhaps not so obvious for someone starting out.

The presets on my webpage above have both forms in the zip file.
