Can anyone recommend a cheap bcr2000 case (in England)? Ideally not a heavy flight-case...

Well, a real flight case for a BCR2000, made with berken multiplex, would not be that heavy. The advantage is it would be sturdy. The disadvantage is that it would probably cost more than your BCR2000 even if you made the case yourself ...
I suspect that any good carrying bag would fulfill your needs. Perhaps that would be a good suggestion for Behringer?
A little off topic, but I'm building |a half-harted (MDF, not berken multiplex) flight case myself to hold a BCR2000, a Roland PG1000 and an 8HE 19" rack section (facebook foto album of progress here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.826560834062669.1073741833.100001262810309&type=3).
What could be done is take an existing 19" flightcase (or have one built to specifications) to hold some of your other stuff, with a drawer like section in which to transport the BCR.
Good luck to you, with regards,Ad van Gerven
