Crappy sw need support and support cost money. Guess someone at Berhinger finally figured it out :) In The Hall of Fame only the BCA is discontinued. http://www.behringer.com/BCA2000/index.cfm?lang=eng As far as I can tell from the local Behringer site there is a BCF2000-WH B-Control planned late this year. http://www.mamut.net/nmd/8075642.jpg Site might just be down for maintains because of this update?

Might be, but what is strange is the fact that the product page does not show the BCx at all ! Cheers. J\ufffdr\ufffdme.

I think that if anyone compares the price and features of the BCx2000 products, they just don't compare to what else is out there. For example, the "all-in-one" solutions like all the 25 plus keyboards with 8 sliders, 8 knobs and 8 buttons, plus shift functions x4 and all for under $200 form Alesis, Roland, M-Audio, and a dozen others, even Behringer. That said, nobody is offering motorized faders and I think that's the deal breaker for Behringer, those things are expensive and for most users, they are probably just a gag anyway. It's hard to implement in software with status, bidirectional data, etc. Yer what - a gag ?!!! No, motorized faders are starightforward to implement in software and are fundamental. Which is why most serious DAW apps support them. geoff

Hi ! Udo van der Meer <u.vandermeer@...> a crit: > I saw an anouncement for a new white version about a month ago.. > > Udo It was not only an announcement, it is available. I used one at a friend's ! This is why this is very strange. There are two possibilities. Either they have found something wrong pertaining RohS rules and had to simply remove them and stop production, or they are going to release a brand new version. Don't know. Cheers. Jay.
