Hi to all,

with the advent of the scandalous behavior of some Internet players and the change in the ownership and privacy rules of Yahoo, I am leaving this space.

Although I am one of the administrators of this forum, there is at least one other other so it should function as at always has.

If I can still be of help anyone, you will find me on Mark's forum

https://mountainutilities.eu/forum

I think most of my files are now at my website

http://www.bwalk.com.au/BC2k/BC2k.html

See you there.

All the best

Royce

Royce, sorry to see you go. You have the perfect combination of deep technical knowledge, and patience and empathy with newcomers and not-so-newcomers. Your contributions have always been worth following, even if the topic itself was not of interest.

Glad to know you are still there at Mountain Utilities and at your own site. But your expertise will be missed here.

Having said that, I saw the new site's / owner's T's and C's for the first time when I logged in to make this reply. It's very sad that data mining is the new gold rush, and just like the wild west, the rule of law is.... ambiguous. May not hang around here long myself, which is a shame as I am a member of at least 10 groups.

Thanks again, look forward to catching up with you elsewhere.

What's this about? Are Yahoo selling details or something? Why not just change your account info to give random untrue details and not share anything personal?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
