how to get turn off emulation mode ...

how to get turn off emulation mode ...

2007-10-12 by kevinctr

It may sound stupid, but I don't actually need one of those modes and
was just testing if it would appear on the LD screen of the BCF2000
but now I seem to be stuck in it! How do I get back to the normal mode
with presets etc.?

Thanks!

Manual pp 18
Panic Reset
This function resets the most important MIDI data to their factory settings
Press EDIT and keep it pressed
Press EXIT - The reset occurs as son as you press EXIT. PAnC appears in the display. After a while the reset completes and the unit drops into play mode.

There could be another way, but I don't have a BCF2000 .
Can anyone else offer some info?

There's a Behringer support document called "B-Control BCF2000
Emulation Modes. The crucial controls for selecting emulation modes
are the first five buttons of the top row. Button 1 = Standard B-
Control mode (complete with presets and the ability to user-select
functions and settings); button 2 = Mackie Control for Cubase and
Nuendo; button 3 = Logic Control for Logic Audio; button 4 = Mackie
Control for Sonar 3; button 5 = Baby HUI.

To change mode: power off; push and hold desired button above; power
on and wait until the selected mode is indicated in the display (in
your case, bC); release the mode button.

Side comment: this is supposed to work on BCF's v1.06 and up. It
works for me on my v1.10.
