Capacitor values:
1 x uF (or u or mfd, or micro Farad) = 1000 x nF (or n or nfd of nano Farad)
1 x nF = 1000 x pF (or p or pfd or pico Farad)

100n = 0.1 uf or 0.1 mfd

Resistors: what does 8k2, or 2k2 refer to? And 820R?

8k2 = 8200 ohms
2k2 = 2200 ohms
820R = 820 ohms
