Elby Designs sells the Tempco and also a Bi-N-Tic filter special parts kit:

The 2n2 cap is Mouser 23PS222

You would not notice much difference with a 10R resistor. The bead
helps filter out RF. If your neighbor is a ham or a CB radio operator,
you might want beads.
