I can also include the 2200pF polystyrene to the kits if desired.
The ferrite would offer improved high-frequency suppression but the resistor will work perfect for most of us.

You would not notice much difference with a 10R resistor. The bead
helps filter out RF. If your neighbor is a ham or a CB radio operator,
you might want beads.
