Exponetial VCAs respond different to the EG control voltage than a
linear VCA and yes, that is exactly what you want (or what i want
actually).
Exponential vca enable you to control the lower values more precise.
By experience you will find out that exponetial VCAs are rather
suitable for control voltages (i.e. feed LFO output into EG controlled
VCA to fade in the modulation), linear VCA are rather suitable for
audio signals. Hope that makes sense (I'm not a native speaker).
