I am looking for tips with regard to building cgs modules in the
frac-rack format in order to complement my small blacet rig. Can
anyone suggest US part numbers (mouser/digikey, etc.) for
small pots and switches that would help me to save panel
space?
As far as pots go, I know that Blacet uses the panasonic 9mm
jobbies from digikey (page 720 of my catalog, which may be out
of date). However, these are surface mount only. There is one
type (Fig. 2) that has hardware for mounting to a panel, though
without solder lugs--can I just use this and solder to the smt
pins?
BTW, this is my first attempt at building modules. Any and all
tips/advice will be greatly appreciated!
