Re: DUSG Wiring

Regarding MA MB: follow the table and the diagrams at the top of the page. You can't really go wrong here. If the behavior of the switch is reversed when you test the circuit, simply invert the two wires, or turn the switch by half turn.

DCO gives you a DC coupled signal which is always positive: useful for envelopes and such. Works also for oscilators. Not good if you want negative modulation for fm,
AC coupled out is centered around 0. Good for negative modulations

I did not use D.

The diagrams here may be usefu http://www.diophantine.net/synth/bocgs/bocgs-wiring.html There is the DUSG.

If you disconnect F or FC the VC in won't work. I doubt you want that.

Hi all,

I'm wiring up a DUSG PCB to my panel and following Ken's instructions on his site.

Please correct if I'm wrong but:

MB on the schematic is RISE

MA on the schematic is FALL

the Wiring table on the same page lists them the other way around. Which to follow?

Also:

DCO is MAIN OUT

D goes to BIPOLAR OUT

What is BPO (AC COUPLED OUT)?

Lastly, I've seen some pics of builds where F and FC are not connected. such as:

https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/10087_quad_slope_02_1.jpg

Does that look right and if so, how? Or again should I just follow the wiring table?

Its my first CGS Board, sorry if this is obvious or previously covered somewhere.

Thanks!
