VCO Set-up

Hi List,
I've just finished my VCO, and inevitably, it isn't working right.
I'm looking for some guidance as to what I might have done
wrong.
I've gone for the full spec less the Fine Tune and the third 1V/O.
Everything else is there. I plugged it in to go through the set-up,
and I'm getting a pulse wave and a SAW wave (AC & DC) but that
is it.
I have set the Zero trim to output 0V, but I can't get the Osc to
tune properly. Rather than an octave difference at 1V, I'm getting
about half a semi-tone. Also, the pitch is unstable and gradually
rises about a tone over three of four minutes.
Have I done/missed anything obvious? Has anyone seen
these symptoms before? Help me Obi-Wan, you're my only
hope...
