on the cgs30 diagram for stacking multiple filters theres a wire to
run from the bead on the top bandwidth filter pcb to the -ve on the dc
mixer. does this share the hole with the 10r resistor (substitute for
ferrite bead)or is it joined from the pad on the underneath of the pcb.

Either/or. If coming in from above, you won't fit through the hole, so you
would solder it directly to the component lead.
