What are some decent potentiometers? I've noticed they range from
about $1.00 to $10.00 per. I don't want to get anything super cheap
that I would regret later, but dont want to spend a small fortune on pots.

thanks

Many of us just use plain old alpha 16mm open frame pots. They are cheap
enough and reliable enough for home use, and not too difficult or expensive
to replace in the event you need to.

personally i want to mount pots once and have them work for a long
long time, so i always bite the bullet and use spectrols or bournes.

people over on the oakley list are already seeing their omegs get
scratchy or flaky, and mine get stiff if they are not given a regular
workout. also i don't much like the plastic thread + metal nut
combination.

just my 2c. ymmv, obviously.
