Toggle Switches

Toggle Switches

Looking at the Gate Sequencer plans, the ideal toggle switch would be a SPDT "On-Off-On" switch.

Then in catalogs there are SPST "On-NONE-On" switches as well. What's the difference?

I think the difference is that On-Off-On stop at the
middle setting. The On-None-On passes through the none
setting withwout stopping. I hope I am right on this
am if I am that it helps.

Check out www.goldmine-elec.com for surplus switches.
The have a batted handle like MOTM, but only half the
length. I bought these for my unit I am currently
building. They are pcb mounted as neede for the pcb
and 2 for a buck. GREAT PRICE!

Re: Gate Sequencer Switches Link (2 for $1)

Here is a link to the switch I mentioned:

http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G16014

Copy and paste the whole thing.

I got all the switches I needed for a dual gate
sequencer for $16 plus shipping. Whoot!!!

Agreed with David.

On-off-on switches have three terminals and three positions (A -
B, no connection and A - C). On-none-on appears to be a bizarre
Mouser name for what is known to the rest of us as "on-on" : a
three terminal switch with three positions (A - B and A - C).
