Programmer Sequencer built + Question

Programmer Sequencer built + Question

2006-10-16 by The Alison Project

I just finished the Programmer Sequencer (8 Steps) except the pushbuttons which I will be doing tonight, everything worked except the CPO jack..

Ken what exactly does this out do..

Data2action mentioned his CPO was not working either, did you get this debugged?????

I built it to MOTM standard, yes wiring all the pots was a huge pain and I am glad it's over, I will post pics soon...

Ken this is an amazing module, thank you very much for this... can't wait for the Gate Delay..

post pics to the group space!

is the gate delay a new module? or are you using the existing gated
comparator / analogue shift / etc modules?

what *is* ken doing next? :-)

entirely new, based on obsolete but easy to get ram chips, making it a HUGE
shift register with 8 equally spaced taps, or 8 smaller shift registers.
Powered by a 1V/oct clock.

>what *is* ken doing next? :-)

Going quietly insane, I think.

Actually, it's an envelope generator that is currently in the works. Yay,
about @#$% time.

[fx: heavens open, accompanied by choir]

soon, i'll be able to stop buying other mfrs' modules completely!

wishlist -

- post-attack pre-decay "hold" stage for those thunky minimoog envelope shapes
- delay stage perchance
- some VC control
- maybe a VCA built in a la oakley envelope
- off the wall stone(r)isms...

It gives a pulse when one of the pushbuttons are pressed. It is possbile I
have a bug, and no, I've had way too much on my plate of late to even think
about looking at it.

Re: Programmer Sequencer built + Question

A new envelope generator?! Whoo hoo. Like Jason said, I pretty much only be
buy CGS modules. Everything else is just too expensive. My modular is
quickly looking more like a CGS modular than anything else. Though I do have
some other stuff non CGS. I recently built three Thomas Henry XR2206 VCO's,
and they sound excellent! Im really looking forward to the EG. I really need
voltage control of all parameters. A built in VCA would be nice.

Thanks Ken!
