does CGS have something that will select an output from an input list
based on a CV, like the blacet scanner?

also -- thinking of designing it if not. would such a design require
a real A/D stage or are there other support-type chips that would
help out?

praps you could feed a couple of CGS55 Analog Switch Matrixes with the
outputs of a LM3914 LED bar graph driver...

thanks for the A/D idea.

i only need to scan 4 inputs max, so maybe i would scale an incoming
+/-5v CV to a range which would just affect the 2 lsbs of the LM3914,
then use the outputs to index a cmos 4013 analogue mux or something.

the blacet scanner has configurable overlap on the inputs, so it must
have a different approach.
