I've just uploaded details of the matrix mixer to the CGS web site
http://www.cgs.synth.net/
Both the boards and the pots are available directly from me.

Some of the out of stock boards have been replenished. More stock is due in
a couple of weeks.

Matrix Mixer Error

2003-02-26 by phix_it <phix_it@yahoo.com>

Hello Ken.......and all.

I just took a look at your Matrix mixer and there is an error in the
schematic. The bipolar/Unipolar switch/link is connected wrong. As
shown, when the switch is in the Unipolar position Pin 2 of the
output op-amp is shorted to ground and you'd get no output. In
reality the common pin of the switch should be grounded and the pin
going to pin 2 of the op-amp should become the Unipolar position.

A simple mistake. Otherwise a handy little circuit.

Keep up the good work Ken.

Dean.

Re: Matrix Mixer Error

Hi

It seems also that there is a mistake for the buffer stage
on the schemo we have a nice schmidt trigger instead of a voltage follower.
When looking the buffer PCB one can see that these are voltage follower
therefore the schematic is wrong but the PCB is right !

Keep up the good work Ken

Hi again

Forget about my previous message !
I have just checked the Matrix mixer page and Ken did already correct
the schematic !

Well done Ken!

I'm glad to see someone is awake, even if it isn't me.

Ken (who seems to be sleep working)
