drum question

2003-05-05 by elle_webb

Does anyone have audio samples of the drum board output?

Also, is there much benefit to bring resonance to the panel?

It sounds much like any other ringing oscillator rhythm unit used on organs,
Dr rhythm bass drums etc, except that it has a rather nasty "kick" at the
beginning to emphasize the drum strike. This of course can be reduced too.

Not really. If you are going to do so, you need three pots per control - two
of which are trim pots to set the beginning and end of the adjustment range,
so the panel pot has a useful range. The panel pot itself will need to be
1/5 to 1/20 of the overall resistance.
