bi-polar caps

i'm building the drum sim board, and was wondering about the effect of
using different size non-polarized caps for the outputs, like 8uF. are
these used for decoupling, or blocking dc? trying to avoid mail order
shipping charges and wait time (and curious). thanks,

Blocking DC in this case.
8uf would be fine. The tolerance of these things is +/-20% anyway. The worst
you could do would be to lose a little bass, but I doubt you'd notice it -
your speakers probably aren't that good. (Nobody's speakers are that good).
