cgs tube VCA

hello,
i intend to start building a couple of the tube VCAs and i am hoping to add them to a 12volt system. will this work? should i just test them with 12v and hope for the best or could this potentially damage the VCA? is a 15volt supply absolutely nessecary for these VCAs? any info greatly appreciated!
thanks

While I have not tried it, or looked into it in much detail, off the
top of my head, I would say that it is unlikely that it would damage
the module. However, there are component values and other aspects of
the circuit derived from the supply voltage (eg. the current through
the heater cathode, the voltage divider for the Gain knob, etc.). So
you might to re-calculate those for a 12V supply.
