CGS58 gain question
2009-04-05 by Dave Kendall
Hi all.
I changed the 150K resistors in the schmitt trigger sections for
127K-ish (6K8 + 120K in series), to get the output from the saw/tri up
to ±5V. It was originally around ±4V.
This works, but there is a very slight negative offset - the wave dips
a wee bit below -5V and doesn't quite make +5V.
The TL074s are socketed, and I get the same behaviour when subbing-in
different TL084s and an LM324.
Anyone know of a reason for this, or fix for it?
cheers,
Dave
