Wave Multiplier vs Serge Wave Multiplier?

The main multiplier in the 29 is very similar to the second one in the 113. The other two in each are nothing like each other.

Capacitor values and joystick

2012-11-07 by Dennis Tan

Hi,

I'm getting some parts for the wave multipler and don't seem to find this part here in Germany. Maybe it's because of the translation... I'm looking for 100n 1206 SMT. I hope that they ain't SMD.
any ideas?

Also does anyone in Germany know where I can get 10k joystick, like the ones they have on the doepfer module A-174?

1206 is the size of a surface mount part, so yes, SMD. Alternatively, you can use little leaded ceramic monoblock caps, and solder their leads to the component pads themselves on the solder side of the PCB, e.g., directly between pins 8 and 4 on a TL072.

Good to know. But what does monoblock mean? Just a normal cetamic cap?

"Ceramic monolithic". These caps: http://www.futurlec.com/CapCerMono.shtml
