tube vca as output module

tube vca as output module

2014-07-01 by sirolffoonav

Dear, I just posted this on Muffwiggler,

while thinking of a solution I thought maybe the cgs tube vca can give a bit of the sound that I normally get from my amp. What do you think of this? Would it work as output module? thanks for the help! Floris

I played live through all kinds of P.A. systems and was ok with it.

But now I've got this amazing sound by combining a slightly feedbacking filter with my pearl keyboard amp.

Those beautiful resonance peaks from my amp don't sound like this through a P.A. system.

I tried this at different venues with different very helpful engineers, but can't come close.

what can I do about this?
I was thinking towards building a preamp or d.i., but help in all directions welcome.

why don't you just use your amp on stage
the engineers can mike it up and run it througt the PA
then you also have control of your own monitoring...
