I made this mod to mine. However, there is a limited effective
tuning range. Here is my experience. Your mileage may vary:

The basic tuning point is set by the capacitor selection. Then you
can subtract some or add to the 470 K resistor to effect some tuning.
I have some 300K pots I used. That was really a little too big. I
say too big, because that range produces too much variance in the
"res" trimmer setting across the tuning range. I had to select a
compromise setting.

If one planned to bring a portion of the Res tuning range out to the
front as Ken indicatd you could, maybe this is not an issue. I
suppose one could even experiment some with dual pots, using
resistors in parallel to tweak the sizes so that the res setting
could be compensated as the tone was tuned.

I have found this to be a very fun circuit to play with. While I have
a 3 voice modules complete in a 1U MOTM format, I have 2 more PCBs on
order. I think it might be nice to have a 4 voice version, with 4
values of caps and tuning on each one so that the end of one range
overlaps the other slightly.

Hi, I don't have a specific solution, but this is a similar circuit
(double T ringing filter I think) and it has a rudimentary VC pitch:

I thought it could be nice to do it for Ken's drum simulator...
