vco corrections?

vco corrections?

2004-04-16 by bbluthang

hi Ken and everybody
i'm just finalising my 1st vco and am a little unsure as to the
corrections -

looking at the schematic,
it seems i should replace the 330R at the SQ pad with 1K8.
replace the 1K8 at the PWM pad with 1K.
leave the 1K going to ground, but cut the track, and insert a jumper
to the SQ pad.
does this seem correct?
thanks
andrew

Check messages 619 and 620 (Jan, '04) in the cgs_synth Yahoo groups
message archive.

thanks Jeff
this is the source of my uncertainty ;-)
Ken wrote, in message 619, that the schematic is correct, but the
corrections that follow are different to the schematic.
on the schematic, the 1k8 goes to pin 7 of the 072 and 1k to ground.
so, should i go by the schematic or message 619?

actually, i followed the schematic and have got the vco up and
running. now trying to tune it -
that'll probably be the subject of my next post!
wish i had a scope....
