Re: Polaris patches in SoundDiver LIB format

Re: Polaris patches in SoundDiver LIB format

Hello,

My problem is, I happen to be one of the many PC users (Windows XP)
who got the raw deal when Emagic was aquired by Mac.
I not only used SoundDiver, but also Logic. The highest version of SD
for PC users is 3.05 This is probably why I don't have the Polaris
adaptation.
BTW: I actually wanted a Mac system as they ARE probably better
however, they are significantly pricier than PC for equivalent power.
Many of us out here who were able to piece together modest recording
facilities on a tight budget (and have been able to do so using PC)
may not have been able to if faced with a Mac-only option.
Your post definitely clears up my question.

best regards,

LWG

Hi,

The file is mine and I've used 3.05 sounddiver PC version.

Pherhaps it's possible to format it to sysex but don't have a clue how to do
that.

Sorry I can't help you out with that.

marmaduke, I have SD 3.0.5.4, and it has the Polaris in it. It is a
bit strange in sending libs to my polaris, might be my low OS (5), or
maybe my polaris period. In any case, I can edit and retrieve easily
enough, but I do wish it would output sysex files as well.
