Re: Editing Bit-01 with SYSEX strings

2010-07-12 by a33e

Thanks for quick answer.

How to trigger sound out of Bit01 at same time when editing it from BitControl still puzzles me..

What is BitControl using as MIDI IN device? (It's output can be selected from its GUI, that's clear).

You say that "Also, I'm not sure that note messages are passed through the plugin at all, at the moment."

i believe that's the feature what's needed if used it way i was trying.
As example when using MOTU Unisyn i make pattern in VST host (BUZZ) and choose from its tracker plugins MIDI out lets say 'MIDI Yoke driver 1' and configure Unisyn to take same MIDI Yoke driver 1 driver as input.

Then from Unisyn i select "Echo" so that it forwards it's input to output and combines edit's made on it to same output.

AFAIK it's not possible to use two programs using same MIDI device for output.
I am not moving away from using BUZZ as host as i know it's sequencer thoroughly, it's like tattoeed to my brains.. :D

But i'm curious, how exactly you use it for editing sounds?
