Re: crumar organizer 2

No, organizer T2 iz not a new version of organizer 2.

The real story about Crumar Organizer is:

About 1974 CRU-cianelli MAR-io began to produce a total copy of
Hammond organ - Organizer: single manual keyboard with 12 separate
tone generators from C to B each. It has Hammond patented resistor
network to add the "leakage" noise generated by the tone-wheels
and "original" percussion circuit board. There are only transistors,
capacitors and resistors inthere, no ICs!

Features:
- 61 single manual
- 9 drawbars: 16', 5 1/3', 8', 4', 2 2/3', 2', 1 3/5', 1 1/3', 1'
- 3 presets - 16', 5 1/3', 8'
            - 16', 1'
            - "full organ"
- percussion knobs: 4'(= "second"), 2 2/3'(= "third"), 2 2/3', 2'
- percussion decay & volume slide controls
- vibrato speed & depth slide controls
- no bass pedals!

As it was one of the first clones of Hammond organ, they should stop
the unauthorized production of real copy of Hammond organs: they put
1 sine wave tone generator with IC dividers to 12 tones in Organizer,
providing so called "Farfisa" or "VOX Continental" tones. Two manual
version of this was called Organizer 2 - still analog device.

Adding some ICs toward digitalisation resulted in Organizer T1, so we
can not call two manual version T2 as new Organizer 2!!

I still have and play perfect Organizer with ELKATONE 610PR Leslie
(made by Pietro Crucianeli's ELKA). This couple has such a "Hammond"
sound, that listeners of LPs, where I recorded some parts with
Organizer/ELKATONE and another with Hammond M100 / 142 Leslie, can
not differ them :-))

And this couple Organizer/ELKATONE is still perfectly working after
28 years of stage and tours as jazz rock band keyboard.

As I "grabbed" Organizer as Demo piece with serial No. 00000132 from
Italian music shop in 1974, I have no User Manual, no Technical
documentation even no Warranty :(
