looking to sell my Spirit

looking to sell my Spirit

2012-12-14 by m

Hi--

I have a mid-80's Crumar Spirit analog monosynth that I am looking to sell, hopefully by other means than Ebay. This group would know about this Bob Moog designed synth.

I just had it PM'd at Pro Electronic Audio here in Tampa--got it back a week ago and I've been getting reacquainted with it's wonderful sound and routing capabilities--shes's in top shape, ready to go. Has original case and all documentation, even the original sales tag and receipt.

It has no blemishes--flawless synth, would look good in a museum under glass, LOL-

Last one I saw sell on Ebay went for $3200 in UK dollars. I am looking for best offer, trade or a partial of both.

I think this is the 8th machine produced--it is SN # N2-00008.

Please let me know if you are interested, I can provide pics as requested. You can also see pics on the Harmony Central forum I posted to last year regarding this synth--google "crumar spirit for sale" or something to that effect.

Thanks, and Happy Holidays All!

Mark

First question is how much do you want for it?

Hi Chris--

I'm sorry I didn't see your email sooner--not sure if I ever replied to you! My apologies.

I'm looking to get around $3K for it. It's in perfect shape, like it's been in a bank vault for 30 years. The friend who gave it to me some years ago hadnt touched it for 20.

I have offers up to 2800 to date, so I've held onto it. Theres another person offering a trade for a new Kronos X-73, and that's looking apealing -- better if it was an Andromeda though :)

Anyway, the synth is still available. Let me know if you'd like more info.

Thanks,

Mark
