hello, all four of you. i joined the list two weeks ago and nobody said
a word, so i checked the archives. as far as i can tell, there have only
been two messages ever sent to the list. what's worse is that one of them
is, "hello, is anybody in here?"
we are proud owners of crumar keyboards.let's talk. i have a performer
that i bought at goodwill for $25. i love it soooooooooo much. i use it
all the time. i play in two indie/college rock/lofi pop bands. the crumar
strings sounds are so nice for filling up a song. what model crumars
do all of you have? anybody use them with effects pedals? it is really
fun. anyway, the point is, let's talk. introduce yourselves. by the way,
my name is reed. i'm 23 and i live just outside of minneapolis.
have a nice day, reed

Hi Reed,
I don't have any Crumar gear any more, but stay on the list to see if I can
help anybody out there.
The Performer is a great little synth, just ask Nick Rhodes (Duran Duran).
Most of the string parts on the first two LP's are the Performer.
Put it via a Phaser and you have the old ARP Quadra strings/Phaser sound.
Strings all on and E.Q on (Low all the way down/Mid all the way up/Hi half
way between down and mid way) and a slow attack, and you have a passable
vocal/choir pad type sound.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
