[crumar] DS-2

[crumar] DS-2

2000-09-29 by toysrubba@aol.com

I just got a Crumar DS-2 for $100 worth of work. (long story)
Does anyone have any experience with this device?
I had to get one of the oscillators fixed. It is now 100%
Anyone have an owner's manual, or know where to find one?
Thank a lot.

I don't think I can be of any help... but I'm just amazed two other people
actually have a DS-2. I've never seen a reference to one. My oscillators 1
and 2 have always worked, but the poly section has been intermittent despite
numerous trips to repair facilities and has been dead for the last 20 years,
LOL, I bought it new. It's a lot of fun. I'm a guitar player anyway...
Wait, hold the phone... I just found the manual!! It's under the towel I used to
protect the piano that the DS-2 sits on! It's got 13 pages of descriptions
and bright orange patch suggestions. Is there some way I can post this?

Check to make sure the LS multivibrator is outputting a clock signal whose frequency should be modulatable by moving the pitch lever. If so then see the the 4727 chips I think they are or whatever... have divided down signals on many legs. -Bob
