general question about this group

2004-10-21 by ppietersma

Hi,

Since I am not an experienced yahoo group user, I don't know how everything
works exactly. If these are stupid questions, please ignore them :)

1) I have the Crumar Bit99 and Bit One manuals in pdf format and in a short
while the schematics/partslist of the Bit One as well. Since they can quite
easily be found on the internet I was wondering why they are not in de Files
section. Copyrights problems? Too common files to file here? Not enough
space?

2) How about sounds etc?

Best regards,

Artur

The manuals you mention are not on there most likely because no-one has
taken the time to post them.....I don't have a Bit, but I'm sure someone
would love the convenience of finding them here - I got my DS2 manual
from the list postings!

:) Here they are. I don't think that it's a legal offense to post them here. If
anyone thinks it IS then please remove those manuals.

Hi Bob,

Yup... that's what I mean. Sounds samples can really be handy sometimes.

1) On this page for example there are samples of all of the original Bit One
patches: http://www.synthmania.com/bit_one.htm
Unfortunately, that page made me realize that something is REALLY wrong
with my recently bought Bit One :(((

2) Luckily I still got my Roady...which I bought because of this sample:
http://www.keyboardmuseum.com/soundsheet/crumar_roady.html

I am really interested in what the different Crumars sound like and what
people do with those sounds :)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
