;mmmmm... warm

;mmmmm... warm

hey, thanks for the tips. i just plugged in my performer and tried the
settings you recommended. they are very warm. i like that a lot. what i
love most about this synth is that it sounds kind of spooky. like it is
almost real, but it's not. very choiry. the t2 is an organ right? i put
a bid in on a t3 a while back, but i couldn't afford the amount it is
really worth, so i don't own it. seems like most of your equipment is
digital these days, huh? i don't know a lot about digital synthesis. i'm
still just learning analog synthesis. midi confuses me to no end. your
sequential PRO-ONE is more my speed. good old fashioned knob turning.
i've never played one, but from what i read, it seems pretty similar to
my yamaha cs20m. does the PRO-ONE have a midi interface? mine only has
cv in and out. i don't know how to use them yet. i've messed around a
bit, but i don't have a manual and i didn't get far. if you understand
voltage control, maybe you could help me. i've heard a lot of good
things about the emu vintage keys mod. do you usually just daisy chain
your controller keyboard through everything and run it all midi?
pop on, reed

What is it that you do not get about MIDI?.

Think of it as a MONO PRO-5

does the PRO-ONE have a midi interface?

In the studio every thing go's via the computer, to a MIDI 8 way box then on
to the units.
Live from the mother keyboard (4 MIDI outs) to the units.
