Let's see if things run consistently for you now. if you're right, that would make it a "digital" problem (bad data being sent to the printer), although I'm still puzzled as to how that could happen or produce the kinds of results you're talking about. I was thinking more along the lines of "analog" problems: such as, the ink not being delivered consistently, head clogs, etc. I suppose we'll see...
