I am still a relative newbie to this software, but have profiled about 10 papers with 3 inks (canon, epson, mis) and the one thing i found early on was that printing the target a day ahead and letting it dry overnight was an excellent practice. Since i started doing that i have never had a bad profile and am very pleased with this product!
