I totally agree. You have been helpful to me as well and all of us should be savvy enough not to take advantage of your expertise. Been to Tuscany many times and the imagery is like heaven on earth. Are you going full gear?

Last time I took only an Olympus E1, with the standard 4/3 lens, and left the flash and other lenses home (I have to travel carry on all over Europe while I'm there, so devoting a lot of space to camera equipment isn't practical). I'm considering whether to get a Canon 5d before my next trip... not as space concious as the E1, but better than the Canon 1d, at least. Given the almost theatricly retro nature of the new Panasonic SLR for 4/3 system is, I won't be waiting for that (and only 8 mp to boot)... and no sign of a new, higher rez Olympus pro-level camera. Time to jump ship, I guess...

None of which is really on topic for a ColorVision list, except that I find any of the Olympus, Nikon, or Canon SLR cameras with RAW mode to offer good color for use with a color managed workflow; so my camera decisions are based on other factors.
