You're probably right about the patch size in A3 paper but I printed 
out the 255 patch on A4 as I've only got A4 size printers and it was 
quite small. It was made worse by me not remembering to minimize the 
margins. So i had to be really careful on each read to place the PFP 
sensor right ontop of the patch. I would love to have really jumbo 
size patches for A4 size prints so that i can spend less time and 
effort on making sure each read is 100% within the patch of that 
color, and not worry about getting other colors from the border or 
adjacent patch contaminate the reading. Maybe like one of those 
effect you get when you enable the vision-impaired mode in Windows 
where everything gets enlarged.

I've always maintained there were still too many white spaces 
available around the outside of the patches.
