This is not really clear enough to answer. Are you referring to the small print preview at the time you go to print? Or your softproof in Photoshop, with the printer profile selected in Custom Proof Setup? If the latter, then what settings are you using in terms of rendering intent, BPC, and white and black point emulation? If the former, what types of inks, paper, and printer are you using, as some combinations (such as MIS UT3D inks) are not expected to preview at all accurately in the Print Preview window. And finally, the print preview window in the driver is not really intended as a serious softproof, though for simple situations it tends to be fairly accurate.
