Datacolor User to User Support Group.

Do density in colors and black patches generally mean more gamut?  If I 
am measuring more density in blues, reds, browns, etc. can I say as a 
general rule that this particular ink setting is giving me more gamut 
than the other which had lower density numbers in those colors?  It's 
just so much easier to check the density figure than the LAB with three 
variables.
