Hi, If by chance you install version 2.3.5 on a 32-bit system, the installation will succeed, the software will work without any error message but the result of the calibration process will be wrong (strong red dominance). This version is for 64-bit systems only. The big issue with this is that uninstalling the software (and the drivers through the Device Manager) will not be enough. Version 2.2 and 2.3 will no longer work because they'll still try to work with the new driver (spyder2.sys) instead of the old one (cvspydr2.sys). If you are familiar with the registry information that is related to drivers in the registry and with the management of INF files, you can try to manually fix the problem (this is what I did). Otherwise, you'll never run version 2.3 or 2.2 again. So the installer should check whether it is run on a 64-bit system and abort otherwise. Given the consequences of such an installation, the developer of the installation package should have added this test to his code. Again, a big mistake. -- Patrick Philippot - Microsoft MVP MainSoft Consulting Services www.mainsoft.fr
