I remember there was a thread on this group outlining the workflow to
be used to incorporate the extended greys into the color profile but
can't find it.. Does anyone remember the thread?
Dave Miller wrote a nice piece about that, but the essence of it is that you need to print the 225 patch color target and the extended grays target both on the same paper from the same settings. Then (selecting the appropriate target on the preceeding screen) read each back in seperately. Name similarly, but so that you can tell which is which. Then you're set to select the color target, and in the cascade below it the gray target, both in the lower half of the Read Patches screen. This will build a composite profile. The cascade won't show up until at least one complete gray target is in the XML files folder, so if you can't see how to build a composite profile, its because you don't have a qualifying gray measurement set yet.
