I recently had to rebuild a couple of PC's, (XP Pro) so I downloaded the latest versions of Spyder2Pro, installed them etc. rebooted, plugged in the Spyder and opened the software. The software is not recognising the Spyder at the preferences dialogue box. Tried plugging into different USB ports, different opening sequences, reinstall of the software etc. Any hints? Is there a preffered point in the software bootup that the Spyder should be plugged in.? Any hints as to how I might check whether the PC is "seeing" the Spyder apart from via Spyder2Pro?
