than a few seconds.
You had the right approach in contacting colorvision support. Try again, using the Support Ticket system on the ColorVision.com website. This should not take a week, generally less than 24 hours. Be sure to use an appropriate subject line, to avoid getting cleaned out with the Spam... certainly anything with Spyder in the title will clearly be a real support email.
